Dorothy House Hospice

The Cooper Hall Foundation hosts an annual benefit event to support the invaluable work of local charity, The Dorothy House Hospice, combined with regular donations throughout the year resulting from collections made at other events.

Dorothy House Hospice Care provides compassionate caring for our community, supporting people with life-limiting illness to live well and die well. The majority of care is provided in people’s own homes and supports more than 700 families everyday affected by cancer, motor neurone disease and other life-limiting illness.

We serve a community of 550,000 across Bath and North East Somerset and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset; providing a range of patient services including dedicated end of life and respite care in our in-patient unit, out-patient and day-patient services, hospice at home care, nurse specialists and a 24 hour advice line for professionals, patients and their families. The majority of our care is carried out in people’s own homes

All our services are provided free of charge and are only possible with the generous support of our local community. If we can help you or someone you know that has been affected by life-limiting illness,
